I just acquired a 1995 Vulcan 750. the bike was sitting for years. i cleaned the carbs and got the bike started. The bike will run but after 60 seconds coolant and oil comes flowing out into the air filters. i removed the air filter and can see the foamy frothy oil/coolant coming out of the overflow. i don't want to start taking the bike apart yet. thought i would try this site first. if anyone else came across this problem. I think it is either the head gasket or something internal. not sure thanks for any help. i can restart the bike and same issue.

Sounds like a cracked head or block. Coolant is getting into the oil.
Drain the coolant, and change the oil, and start it without putting any coolant in it.
don't run it for more than a couple of minutes as it will get hot in a hurry.
See if it still foams up on you.
On another note, there could be a lot of moisture in the crankcase from sitting. There could be condensation in the cases.
Usually tho it won't cause it to come out the breather tube or filters.
I had a 600 Ninja that would spew water out the crank breather, and come to find out the head was cracked from having plain water in it, and it froze and busted the head.
I hope it's not anything serious.
