Yesterday night my bike started to misfire or atleast sounded like it. When I got home I didn't bother checking it. This morning I started the bike and it had a rough idle but still ran. Now it's to the point where I can't ride it. I can turn the gas on and it sputters then I turned it off and it ran almost perfect in a few seconds. Is this the floats stuck or maybe something else?

Well after letting the old bird sit all day I decided to go start it to see what it would do and it ran perfect. Went for an hour drive it had a sputter twice so I'm still gonna go into the carbs someday soon. But that's the updates.

Ethanol-free fuel is your friend. I tore my carbs apart 3-4 years ago and have kept EF fuel in the tank (except for when I'm on a road trip and know I'll burn all the 10% ethanol gas out of the tank) and my carbs have stayed nice and clean, even when occasionally having to sit for ~2 months at a time.
