So I was working on my bike and the frail copper tab on the side of my radiator which from my research looks to be a water sensor part #92066-1183 broke off, so now a cable from the wiring coming from the trunk of cables that the fan is with is not plugged into anything. I started my bike and watched the temp climb and climb until it shut off because off temp issues and the fan never kicked on. Im wondering if this tab on the water sensor (the nut that it was connected to appears to be fine) controls the fan and tells it when to kick on, I would like to know before I go spend money on one and have it not work :BLAM:

That's one way.the sensor is basically a switch as well.gets to temp the circuit closes.use a switch instead of the sender to close the circuit
