This may sound like a real newbee question (which I am), but my left handle bar grip has somehow slid off about 1 1/2 inches. I can't twist it or push (or pound) it back on. This is a new '05 model with original grips.

Is there some trick to pushing the grip back on?

Thank you.

Here's what I do when putting rubber grips on my dirtbikes - once I have it on partway. Push the end of the grip to the end of the bar - causing the grip to buldge. Then, with your other hand, wrap you hand around the buldge and slide your hand from the buldge forward to work the grip on.

Don't know how clear you'll find that description - but I hope it helps.

It worked just like you said! Thank you. Sorry for the late response. I've been busy in Florida preparing for the latest hurricane. It went south of us, but it still made for a busy week.

Thanks again!
