My engine is MOSTLY together, and I have extra parts!!!! Where do these go? HELP!

A washer and two bolts with a "4" on the head. I put them next to a spark plug for size comparison.

I took pictures during disassembly, but I don't see these parts. I never split the case, and my engine removal parts were kept on a different shelf.

Did you have the battery box unbolted?

I just remembered the bolts are from the rectifier relocation, and not needed. I am down to just the washer.

The washer ID is 11mm, OD 20mm, about 1.5mm thick.

Is there supposed to be washers under the acorn nuts on top of the heads?

What about the long engine mount bolts... Washers there?

It looks like it is 92022-1591 on the cylinder head.

Under one of the large head nuts.

Given the that they are supposed to be torqued in a specific order, am I ok to just remove and retorque the one nut, or do I need to redo the whole head?

I think you'd be fine with doing one. It won't unclamp the entire head.

I've done it myself and never a problem.

Thank you so much! Using a right angle dental pick, I found the nut that was missing it's washer. Fortunately, it wasn't the nut underneath the camshaft, so I only had to re-seat the valve cover & gasket.
