Posting another problem.....
My motorcycle decided it doesn't want to even try to turn the engine over in neutral, and sometimes also not in first. I do all the normal stuff, turn the key, flip the switch, put on the choke, pull the clutch lever, and put up the side stand, then hit the start button and nothing....
so sometimes then i flip everything off, put the bike into first and try again and it will start. why?
i just tried it again, wouldn't start in neutral, fired right up when i flip everything off and went into first. then i shut it off again, and now it wont do anything even if im in first....
im thinking electrical, warn cable or something. but i have no idea where to look or what to do...

Could be the ignition switch is dirty, needing some TLC. There's a few recent posts on that and probably a sticky post on the procedure.

If you do nothing else but fiddle with the key switch, what happens?

x2 on the Ignition Switch as being the culprit.
