I really don't care what kind of shape they're in, this is more of a necessity than a luxury item for me. I live way the heck up the side of a mountain, so when I venture out, I make sure to bring enough tools, just in case. Add a few bottles of water, and other crap and I've got a forty pound backpack strapped to me. Yeah, it does kind of rest on the passenger seat, but it's still awkward and inconvenient.

As far as bartering goes, I have a a Washburn X-Series electric guitar I'm trying to sell. (The light strip isn't included. I bought the light strip for the bike, but tested it out on my guitar. It looked cool, but the battery pack and remote receiver was attached to the back of the guitar and it felt awkward. If you're interested, there's a brand new set of Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings on. Just replaced them last Friday.

I have a brand-new 10 watt practice amp that I used one time.

I've got some Xbox One video games I'm trying to get rid of.

Just went through a nasty divorce not long ago, and I basically had to start over from scratch. She got way more than she deserved, in my opinion. Judge was a woman, so I feel like there was some favoritism and feminism involved, but I could be wrong.

I do a lot of custom artwork, handmade cards, graphite portraits.

Regardless, if the price is manageable, I could probably PayPal you within the next week. I've got some side jobs lined up.

I'm sorry to hear about the divorce, that's never fun.

I'm not looking to get rich off these things, they are used, but still have some life in them. I feel if someone could get some more use out of them, cool. like I said, "cheap". I have a bit of stuff that I just don't use. I still have a set of saddle bags that came with the last bike I bought. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with those yet. I've got a brand-new set of viking bags that I was going to put on my VN750. but then it took a sheet on me. now, I know what I'm going to do with those. lol I'm in the prosses of making mounting brackets for those (another one of my many projects) lol

also, I'm in no big hurry to move these things. so, if you end up wanting them and need some time to come up with the scratch, no worries. I'll just put them on the shelf with your name on them.

Cleveland? I used to work night shift security for a bank out there in '94? ("Don't stop at the red lights on Euclid Ave after midnight." My boss warned me when I took the job...)

I lived in Warren. Grew up out there. Spent summers at Geneva-On-The-Lake in Ashtabula.
Have a brother in Cortland. Another there in Cleveland. (That one works for Diebold(?))
One of my sons lives in Akron with his kids.
I moved down south permanently back in 2005.

Southerners have no idea what "lake effect" means, and they think I'm full of B.S. when I tell them our schoolbuses had chains on the tires in winter!!!

And, I fondly remember the Dawg Pound, and eating dog biscuits as the Cleveland Browns were doing well with Bernie Kosar, Eric Metcalf and "Refrigerator Perry."

it's all good. Firetire2 is one good dude and a Buckeye to boot (He's part of the "Buckey Bunch")! I got no problems with that. mine are pretty beat up. I'm sure Firetire's are in much better shape. most likely he gave you a better deal than I could give ya. it would most likely cost me more to ship them to you than I would have made any money on them, anyways.
for real, Firetire2 is BY FAR, one of the BEST peeps that has been and is STILL on, this forum. I've known him for years, love that guy! truly a great guy.

You grew up in the Rust Belt. as for Geneva-On-The-Lake in Ashtabula, Hmm....not much hast changed. that place seems to to stuck in time. not a bad thing, just different. it's kind of cool. we try to hit it at least once every year for "Thunder on the Strip". I love "Eddies Grill"
