Here's a list of Maw Kaw's part #s for the jets used in the Keihin CV/CVK carbs. Stock jet sizes in most cases are 38 pilots and 132 mains for the 750, and 38 pilots with 135 mains for the '85 VN700. The most common jets used in ear shaves are #40 pilots, with #140 mains, or 40 pilots with 140 main in front carb and 142 in the rear. Scorpion~ in the PNW used the stock pilot with 138 mains for the ear shave on his 700, with great results, but not with the stock needles; I believe he used the Dynajet needles, but I don't recall which notch, and I haven't got that info on this computer.

#42 92064-1194 (optional VN1500A)

Mains
#135 92063-1014 (stock '85 VN700)
#138 92063-1015
#140 92063-1013
#142 92063-1016
#145 92063-1017 (just for grins; works well on the 1500A earshave, but not necessarily so good for the VN750. Usually turns out too rich.)

Hope this helps some of y'all having a hard time finding jets. Note that Maw Kaw's prices are gonna be higher than Sudco or another aftermarket supplier, but the local stealership may actually have some in stock.

When/if you do, gimme a shout; I'm just across the creek (ship channel) from ya. I'm gradually rebuilding my jet stock; sent some extras I had to a few people last year, and they never sent me back the leftovers.

Ear Shave is getting rid of the stock air boxes and filters, and the plastic air "channeling" under the gas tank, and just putting a single, higher flowing filter right in the end of the carb.

Look in the Verse's, and you can read the how-to stuff, and/or search the forums. It does require re-jetting the carbs, and it's a pretty popular mod done to these bikes.
