Uncertain if this has been attempted, but has anyone ever tried swapping the DS to belt/chain drive? I would imagine the hard part would be find a wheel/spocket combo. Anyways, just curious.
Oh? You would have to convert it to a bevel gear and have to securely mount it somehow. From there you can run sprockets and chain, cheapest and easiest way to convert anyway. This is the only reason I like the 800 better, change gears on the fly.transmission end wouldn't be that hard... if you had access to a cnc machine, lathe, and a milling machine.
...no, no..wouldnt wanna do that, lol....jes letter know whats up yer trouser..and not let the wife know what I have up my sleeve,
