I have pulled and drained the master cylinder on my bike, and cleaned the nasty, nasty, old, nasty brake fluid from it and am cleaning the gunk out of the cylinder itself.

I have two questions. First, how do I drain the brake fluid from the brake lines? If I am going to clean the system, I may as well get off to a clean start. Is it enough to pull the drain plugs and let gravity do the rest?

Second, do I need to do anything with the calipers? If so, what needs to be done? A friend of mine said something about sanding calipers? And once I refill the system. just bleed them until it runs clear?

Thanks,

I am not sure what Sanding the Calipers is, By filling the resivor with clean fluid and opening the bleed screws, Gravity will take the new fluid down and flush the old stuff out.
Make sure you dont let the resivor run dry.
