All:

As a fairly new member, I followed the #1 recommendation and got a MF bat last week. The hot start issues are gone and it fires like a champ cold as well.

However, when I apply the brakes, I notice that the headlight dims...not too bad, but it does. I know the 750 has elect issues, but is this common-and how concerned should I be? I guess my next mod will be an LED read brake light. ; > Oh, I also bought Bulldogs R/R bracket!

Enjoy the weekend all!

When you apply the brakes it causes the rear tail light to go brighter, which draws more current and at the same time, since you are braking, you are generally off the throttle so you are not generating as much current, thus causing your headlight to dim slightly. This is normal.

A 'Clear Alternatives' LED tail light helps a lot.
Adding two trailer lights makes it worse ;-)

Pretty soon I'll have to order the CA tail light and replace the incandescent trailer lights with a LED alternative.

At least my ass is bright at night!

Fixed the problem on my Nomad. That is why I had Clear Alternatives create the VN750 model. Frees up a whole bunch of amperage for other toys :pepper:
