Finally decided to try the Walmart oil (Rotella T) that alot of members swear by. Bought a gallon today and just want to double check I did buy the right oil. (Rotella T Synthetic SAE 5W-40) I have always bought the bike oil and feel a little worried I'll be pouring in the wrong oil. Is this the right oil? Tks...

If it's the Rotella 5W-40 in the blue container, then yeah, that's the stuff all right.

Given that a cooler stator is a happier, longer-lasting stator, and that our oil is worked by both the engine and the transmission, many here would argue that a synthetic oil is really the way to go.....with this bike, anyway.

Yes it is the blue container. I should have stated I finally decided to buy the Shell Rotella T at the Walmart store and not buying Walmart oil. Thanks for confirming I did grab the correct oil.
