Hi all,

I recently got a free 06 VN750 for free from a family member. The bike was sitting outside for a couple of years, and the Florida weather destroyed the fork seals. I haven't rode the bike yet as it doesn't start, but the forks seem to feel ok. But do you think these seals can just be replaced, or is a full rebuild in order?

It's always better to get rid of the old fork oil. It's a sure bet it still has the original oil and over the years it's accumulated a lot of moisture, possibly deteriorated rubber from the seals.

eBay is going to be the best source for the seals, price wise.
