I have a small coolant leak and need some advice first off I need to put more coolant in. What type do I use and do I deloot with water? Also can I use a coolant leak stop??

All year VN750s are functionally the same.

Use 50/50 coolant that is safe to use on aluminum blocks. No, do not use "coolant leak stop." Find the source of the leak and address it properly.

Where is it leaking? If it's leaking out of the overflow hose it could have just been very low, began to boil in the radiator, and then shot the steam out the overflow hose that comes off the reservoir.

Yes you will have problems if you use stop leak.
