Sarge...I did not take off the reed valve cover...I just capped the air inlets w/ plastic 5/8" chair leg covers, or alternately, 1/2" brass pipe caps. Much easier, cleaner and you can hardly notice the rear one, and can't even see the front behind the right ear. I don't think you need the gaskets if you plan on installing a piece of chrome, tho...they should fit flush against the engine case....Sgt Mike said:I'm gonna install my coasters in a couple of days, so for those of
