I don’t think so. The bolt is fine and when I pulled it out it seems like it pulled the threads on the engine side with it. It only seemed like it was a few of the threads and I’m thinking maybe there are more threads behind it that I could get a slightly longer bolt into. What are my options if the engine side threads are stripped?
Look for something called Time-Sert, there are other kits also, helicoil, fix a thread, etc. They all come with a special sized tap to allow using thread inserts. Don't think a longer bolt will work, and may cause more problems. https://www.timesert.com/
