Has anyone had this happen to them?...messing with getting the bike started for the first time a month back...pushing and pulling the choke... and belive me it was a bugger to get it move most of the time.. well on the left side carb.. it looks like the choke plunger is now off of the lever and completely closed...the little two arm bit that held the plunger is bent...I'm guessing that I will be pulling the carb off.. or just babying it to warm up before riding....as a side note...she is a '92 and had sat for nearly 5 years..outside.. look ruff as hell... modding and resotoring her.. oh and I put a battery in and she fired right up with a bit of pestering...no black smoke just ran!.. I was shocked.. that it started at all...tuff old bird!

Sounds like the plunger might be stuck as well - If you can reach in there, try pulling up on the plunger and see if anything happens. If not, that'll be one target area when you do your carb pull. :)
