I made a video walking through the diagnosing charging system problems and performing the Tuxedo mod using a hole saw. A bunch of posts on this forum helped me figure out what the problem was, so I hope it can be helpful to some of y'all.

I personally would recommend doing a motor pull or tilt, as many who have not done so have ruined their motor by not pulling the sidecase off, even AFTER the kerosene flush.

I'm a big fan on the tux mod since I'm on my 8th stator. Great video and I will be sending it to my friend if his ever goes out. I said I'd help him with his bike if it ever needed it but the two tasks I won't do are pull the airbox and cut another hole in the engine. He's on his own for those ones haha. He may need to pull the airbox before riding again since his bike has been sitting leaking coolant in my driveway for 3 months...
