1995 vn750 with stock pipes de-baffled. Mixture screw turned 3 1/2 times to get bike to run good. I have light popping on decel as well. What can be done to make the bike ok without the back pressure missing from the mufflers? Am I not using a lot more fuel with the carb setting at 3 1/2 turns? Would different jets for the carb make a difference? I think replacing the stock mufflers is cost prohibitive for me. I just bought the bike 2 weeks ago and now I'm trying to fix it's ailments. Thanks.
