Hey All-

Today for the first time I went through all my connections to ensure they were not corroded. I cleaned them up and put some dielectric grease on them.. I also pulled my battery box out and sanded it down, and repainted it black. During this process I decided to relocate my R/R because I want to use the bottom of the battery box for another mod..

Soooo I cleaned up the R/R and I want to paint it before I install it..

Just wanted to ask if there was any reason I shouldn't?

Thanks!

Jay

The R/R body is basically a big heat-sync. As you noted, keep it thin. Also, maybe use some engine paint, since it's made for high-heat?

I painted mine with "chrome"color paint...looks more like the engine paint and it's fine. I reach down and touch it once in a while to see how hot it gets, and it never gets too hot for me to keep my hand on it.
