I already checked the switches.

My brake light is always on. When the front and back brake switches are activated, there is an ever-so slight increase in brightness, so I think the switches are OK.

Does anybody have any ideas:confused:

You may need to adjust the nut on the rear brake switch.

The rear brake light switch has a couple of bullet connectors. unplug one, and see if the light returns to normal. If it does, clean and adjust switch. If not, then the front brake switch may be dirty. Make sure the multi-pin connector leading to the front brake lever is in good shape and no shorts or dirty.

Good Hunting ...

Found the short- red and blue wires under the seat were shorted so the taillight voltage was feeding the brake light circuit.
