Hey all!
It's been a while, but I have a question! I didn't have my battery on a tender and it was cold for a week or two, like in the teens everynight. In short the battery is dead, kinda... It actually has an internal short...It lasted five years so no complaints there!
so my question is this: Should I buy teh same battery for 80 bucks, or should I buy the same version but with open cells for 50 bucks. I will keep it on a tender from now on when I'm not riding it... Any opinions? Is an open cell that much worse than the closed I previously had on the bike?
Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't buy a wet cell, and I wouldn't pay $80 for a battery that isn't an AGM type.

Mine is starting it's second year, has stayed on the bike, in the cold, and is still holding 13v. The battery tender is on my truck battery since I ran it dead.

The one for 80 is an AGM type. It's good. Again, that is the one I had on my bike and it lasted like five years.

Yes I agree with you! I just thought I'd check and ask the pro's!
Thanks
