I personally hope he gets his price because I may be able to get $4,000 for mine with an older battery. (lol)

Kelley Blue Book retail value is $3465.
Since when does Kelly Blue Book value mean anything? A bike is worth what someone will pay. I've been watching prices, and they're not that high - even with the high gas prices. Heck, I only paid $5,300 for my 2003 VN1600 Classic last year, and it was in pristine condition with only 7,900 miles. I tried to get $2,500 for my 2001 VN750 last year, but there were no bites. I had to drop it to $1,650 to sell it. Only had 12,000 miles on it.

Was that supposed to be a joke?

I'm guessing so, because who cares about the KBB value?

I was just stating that KBB value was $1000 less than what he was asking..so was affirming that his price is way out there. Does KBB not mean anything in the motorcycle world?? I've used it for years to get a ballpark on car/truck values. I do also know that anything is worth what someone will pay for it regardless of KBB. Didn't mean to get anyone riled up..!
