today I saw a new jacket on tv.
it's like a airbag,there is a small cord ore rope from the jacket to under the buddy where is a sensor.
whit a hit from about 20 miles the jacket blows up like a michelin man.
it is still in experimental fase but it's looking well whit tests.
they are also working on a pence.
when it's not activated it's looks like a normal motorjacket!

I found lots of info on this by doing a google search. Even found a site that showed video of a crash dummy with the jacket being activated. Says it will someday be as standard as airbags in cars.

The new Goldwing has an airbag.
I doubt that they will be able to get folks to buy "air jackets" anymore easier than helmets. And all it will take is some guy to have his neck broken because the jacket did not support his head, and they will be off the market. So as far as them becoming "standard" equipment like airbags in cars...don't hold your breath....
