Wasn't sure exactly where to post so here it goes. Had to take the stock air box off my 1985 VN700A1 today and after looking at the bike and seeing how convienient it is to get to everything I'm not putting it back on. I want an aftermarket aircleaner that will mount to the carbs and still accept the stock hoses. I don't mind getting new longer length hoses as long as all gets reconnected. Any suggestions? Thanks for any and all help.

Do a search for "Ear shave" use 52mm filters, rejet and needle shims. The hardest part is removing the stock surge tank.

Here is another less common earshave with a single oval shaped filter hidden under the seat:

The RC-3240 is the filter i bought for my shave.. its going to be done over winter. i went with the single filter for a few reasons: i wanted the filter protected and out of the rain and wanted to be different
