For this example, I'll use the following web address for how to put an embedded link....

http://www.vn750.com/forum/ebay.php

Now notice how the address is not clickable.
If you put an address and it isn't clickable, make sure that in the "Additional Options" section (just below the submit new thread/preview thread buttons) you have the selection "Automatically parse links in text" checked. That will automatically add the code [ url ] [ /url ] to the address making it clickable, like this...

http://www.vn750.com/forum/ebay.php

----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you want to 'embed' the address into some other text......

Let's say you wanted the address/link to be the words 'Ebay Vulcan Items'
Type in 'Ebay Vulcan Items'
Next, highlight that text (as if you're going to copy it)
Then click the little globe with the chain link below it icon (right under the white smilie face)
A window will pop up in the upper left of your screen that says "Please enter the URL of your link"
Paste the address you copied there then click OK.
You should now have a clickable, embedded link like this .....

'Ebay Vulcan Items'

I usually underline and make it bold, just so it's noticed as a link and not hidden amongst all the other words.

Any questions, just ask.

Hey, at the bottom of most posts is a "multi" box. Whats that used for?
For quoting multiple post, like I did here.
You click 'Multi' for all but the last post you want to quote. For the last post, just hit 'Quote'

I've always wondered about that........thanks for the lesson hyper.
Glad to have helped :beerchug:
