i was having problems with the battery on my bike.i put a meter on it with the bike started and was getting almost 110volts when the bike was revved. could the be the regulator ?

Not possible - you hooked something up wrong...

Trouble with a battery usually means not enough volts.
Are you sure there wasn`t a decimal in the readout, and you really had 11.0 volts?:(

Thank you all for the input .. i just found a broken wire to my regulator and hopefully that will solve the problem.

Its good that you found the problem..... you could have also ran your home electricity with that voltage :) Make sure that you have a good MF battery now as with that voltage you could have fried it....
