Greetings, Wile I have rebuilt Honda cars before this is my first Kawasaki. These carbs are very different. Question 1. Does the float needle valve seat come out. It looks to be pressed in to the body? (Clymer does not address this) If not, how do you recommend cleaning it. Question 2. The Clymer says nothing about removing the pilot air screw. It seems to be frozen it place. Any suggestions?? Thanks for the help, Lew

I think it is pressed in. I just cleaned the float needles well and same for the seats, maybe polish the seat with a q tip, then check for airtightness to be sure you won't be chasing a flooding issue.

Sounds like you may need to get some penetrating oil in there, and will likely need to replace the old rubber o-ring at the tip of the pilot air screw.
