Does anybody have an 18mm x 1.5 x 60mm bolt need to remove the Flywheel that they can sell me? I'm having a hard time finding one around here. The biggest anybody seems to sell is 12 mm.
here try this just make sure its the right size because some listed are not
I realize that you are in a rush but Fastenal carries these bolts and can often get them in overnight if the store needs to order. They also offer overnight delivery. Here is the link to the 18mmX1.5X60mm bolts they carry.
There isn't a Fastenal in North Alabama stocks these bolts. They priced getting me one out of Minnesota at $26 to have it in 5 days. Can you say "AIN"T GONNA HAPPEN!" Found one at a private own bolt store 40 mile from home. They're like gold in Bama.I realize that you are in a rush but Fastenal carries these bolts.......
thats great news man now your ready to tackle that pesky clutch basket nut and believe me that sucker is on there tightWell, ironically I stumbled upon an alternative. I bought this puller set from harbour freight
http://www.harborfreight.com/46-piece-bolt-puller-set-37824.html, and the pressure bolt that came with it (3/4" x 16) worked perfect to remove the Flywheel. Came off easy and did no harm to the threads.:beerchug:
Shoot that clutch basket was a breeze...now the right side balancer (not the gear) gave me all hell. It looks as if the PO was in there at some point because there was some paint scraped off the bolt, I think he used it to torque the left side and compressed the balancer more than it should have been.thats great news man now your ready to tackle that pesky clutch basket nut and believe me that sucker is on there tight
