I have a 92 vulcan 750 and the driveshaft crapped out. Was quoted 1000 bucks to fix and replace, i bought the bike for 2000. Would it be cheaper/better to 1. replace, 2. engine and tranny swap off another bike (if so how much in labor cost) 3. just part it out and sit in tears

I think I will go the used motor route instead of rebuilding mine. What motors will fit these frames? I did find a kick a$$ 1100 Kawasaki motor, will it fit??? Anyone else here do any motor swaps to a different size? Let me know what can be done and how much modifying it takes. What motors used...
