Need a little help. What size bolts mount the petcock? I have M6-1.0 X 12mm and they won't thread in very far at all. The diagram says 6x20? Where would I find those locally?

So i was attempting to rebuild my petcock and got distracted by the wife long enough for my 2 year old to take off with the valve handle. We have looked high and low for it and its long gone. Does anyone happen to have or know of where i can get one, short of buying a whole new oem petcock?
