I take about hour and a half. I remove everything off the motor and all the motor mounts off of the frame. I use air tools, makes it a lot faster. Done it several times.

There is a valve under the seat that makes noise....

There is a valve under the seat that makes noise. The hose that goes from the rear carb opens and closes this valve. You can disconnect the vacuum hose and see if that is the noise you hear.

I usually remove the wheel so I don't need to remove the bevel gears. Also I remove all the engine mounts. I remove the mount brackets off the frame too.
