yardstick

I'm planning to do an earshave this weekend with the kit recieved from that most awsome and erstwhile personage Lance328 :notworthy I figured on checking the sync on the carbs once everything is back together just to be sure, but I can't find the link to the home made manometer. Does anyone know where to find that??

Works like a champ, chosse your fluid carefully as if the sync is way off, the carb with the higher vacumm will suck all the fluid out in no time flat.

Very small adjustments make a big difference.

I use 2 cycle oil, which smokes pretty good when it burns. Don't ask me how I know.

Sorry if it sounded mean, I just thought it was funny.

You really don't need a yardstick, BTW, you just need to adjust the screw so that the fluid is level with itself on both sides of the tube. I used a length of PVC piping and motor oil (drained it into the engine afterward). Make sure the tubing is tight on both vac valves and be prepared to hit the kill switch if one carb starts to pull whatever fluid you are using up into itself.

It's *very* easy to do.

Good luck!

^ It wasn't mean, I actually thought it was cool. I was just giving ya a hard time because it said " There, was that so hard?" before going to the search results.
