|shark88||I thought when I removed the one off my 03 the mount on the Wingerline was slotted and you could just loosen the bolt with an open end wrench and slide it in.|

|M_Angell||If memory serves yes you do have to move the right pipe out of the way. You don't actually have to remove it though. Unbolt it from the exhaust manifold, loosen the clamp from the goats belly underneath the bike and just swing it out to the side. You might want a new gasket for that pipe, but the old one might be fine, use your best judgment (I pretty much always put a new one on). When you tighten them back up on the manifold be sure to work on each one a little bit at a time so the pipe seats evenly.|

Wingerline crash bar installation
I just bought a wingerline engine guard for my 96 vulcan 750. I was wondering if anyone has installed them before. It looks like I need to remove my right exhaust pipe to get at the mounting bolts, but that seems unlikely. Am I right about that? If so, is there anything I need to know about removing the pipes to avoid damaging anything?
If you can't tell, I'm pretty new at this.
