I just got a new set of saddle bags on my bike and I thought it would be a good idea to share a few pics. I found them for $25 on craigslist and spent $12 for the fire and steel patches to cover up the mess from the original Harley patches/stickers. The previous owner removed the Harley logos. You can still see the scuffed leather near the edges of the new patches. For the record these are tied together under the seat without the supports. Since I live in MN it might be a while before I know how well they ride without supports. ![]() |

Got Willie and Max on mine. They came with the bike, but see ones similar for about 120 bucks new. Seems like the bracket is what is expensive.(for what it is) A trip to Home Depot and you could make one yourself. Just one place to buy them, http://street.parts-unlimited.com/17/476. |

leatherlyke... lockable, look like leather, but more durable and less care... water proof too... a buddy has them on his yamaha 1100, look/work great , but they cost a small fortune![]() http://www.leatherlyke.com/stores/sh..._ID=58&CATID=3 |

Leather saddle bags Whats a serious brand to go by for saddlebags? I dont want el-cheapo's, but i dont want to spend a fortune. Saddlemen have been good to me, but they dont last, straps frey and break over time. Can i buy some that will last a lifetime? spend more and get more! |
