VN750Rider/Jerry | Just think how great the Vulcan 750 would be if Kawasaki had solved all it's little problems. It would have been easy for them, and they had 22 years to do it. They didn't even fix that joke of a tool box door. It's still a great bike, but it would have taken so little to make it perfect. |

And we all know that the twisties in the hills will some twisting on the throttle! But I have a small gas can I can carry in the bag so that might make up for the twisting action! ![]() ![]() |

The normal weekend ride is about 120 miles so I have some concerns after reading posts from others on fuel burn after the ear shave. In the meantime, I found an article from 1997 that I thought was interesting after reading several discussions from folks who are looking for a middleweight bike and discussed the Honda and Suzuki as alternatives to the VN 750.
http://www.motorcyclecruiser.com/tho...-middleweights The article has a some great information and merely confirms why we love our Vulcans. They are quick, handle well and for the most part are vibration-free. Certainly they have some MX quirks...stator, shaft drives, battery and carbs, but for the most part they deliver what the bike was designed to provide. Fun. Pure unadulterated fun! Throttle control increase's/decrease's fuel mileage. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
