Mike805 You can check out cdthayer.com. There is a blue bike on there that has them painted to give you an idea of what it would look like. Calipers are on my to paint list as well. Being my bike is blue and black, I was thinking red for the calipers just to add flash to the bike. I'm one of the odd ones here that believe chrome goes on muscle cars so I have very little left on mine, and one day there will be none.

new paint.

ok, im thinking of repainting the tank, fenders, side covers. Thoughts on the neck covers? or should I just restore them to black (they have that nasty grey/black that plastic gets when in the sun). Frame is staying black.

also, since I am not a 'performance' rider, my calipers shouldnt get too warm in normal riding, should they? I imagine I can paint them as well if I can find a caliper paint in the color I choose (or at least a good complementary color)?

any thoughts?

color choice as of right now is Indigo Blue Metallic.
