Scootergptx I'd say this was a noticeable change. Normally when I get here, the needle is just to the right center of the temp icon. This morning, it was just starting to touch the left side.

Sounds Good to me, as I don't see any difference to speak of since I put the EnginKool in mine, might be a tad but I fail to see it on the gauge...

Old Dog Sorry to hear of the death in the family... Our prayers go with you and yours...Old Dog...
PS-Got the 4oz of Enginkool in by draining a bit out of the radiator, will give it time to mix and see if I can tell a difference on the temp gauge, as we are having some hot days ahead according to the weatherman...

Scootergptx Had planned on getting some this past weekend, but had a death in the family, so it looks like it's at least a week before I may have a chance to test it out.

Sounds like it's all about the same stuff. Be interested to see how it works for you Old Dog.

Old Dog OK-Bought a product at auto parts store that racers use called Enginkool seems to be about the same thing... 1 qt. @ $4.75 and it takes 1 Qt. per up to 20 Qt. cooling sys... I figure 3-4oz should do it...

Old Dog Ben, are you ordering or getting it locally?? I thought I might get out and see if I could find it or something simuliar at china-mart or one of the local auto parts stores... I hate to pay as much S&H as something costs......

BSkaggs513 Thanks. I'm gonna call it 8 capfuls (when I get the stuff).

It looks like the recommended dosage is 4 or 5 capfuls per quart. Do you (or anyone) know the capacity of our cooling system?
My Kawasaki manual gives 1.5L which =1.585Qt.

Scootergptx Supposed to be 105 here today, and over 100 for the rest of the week.

Guess the sooner I do this the better.
