BSkaggs513 Tim,
Very important that you clean all the wiring connections that go to ground on your bike when you change batteriy. That will make a world of charging and starting difference! I just used a piece of sandpaper to clean and rough up all the contact surfaces on each connection, including the frame.

Good luck!

2fas4u I have the Batteries plus one in mine. I had trouble with it after about 11 months. At that time it had a 1 year warranty, now the Mgr tells me they have a 6 month. He took care of me though.

Lots of variables there, but under good conditions, 2 - 3 years.

93VN750 I've got the BatteriesPlus you mentioned in my 750. Very good AGM MF battery, it will do you well.

Ironman YTX14 is the description that Yuasa uses on the battery that has their name on it so it's a good chance it's made by Yuasa and sold by Batteries plus. If you have to add the acid to the battery, that's another sign it's actually a Yuasa. First step is to take the battery to another battery shop and ask them to load test the battery. That will tell you if the battery is ok or not. Even new batteries can be defective. If the battery is good follow the electric fault finding chart on this site. http://tinyurl.com/c2zou Scroll down and you'll see the link.

BigT Hopefully all is well with the new MF battery. If for some reason you find that you're still having problems, this site is a God send for helping diagnose any problems that you may have. There is a wealth of information in the verses and folks here that know their s#!* when it comes to our bikes.

I had charging issues with mine when I got it and started with the MF battery. That didn't solve my problems, but with the help of this site I found the culprit, was able to get it fixed and have had no problems since.

Good luck.

Tybalt I got 2 new ones. The first one was a regular one that died - I think it lost some water, the other new one was the MF battery - it has worked well so far, but thats only one ride... I hope it continues!

rnewell If your new battery died in one day you could have charging problems, or bad connections.

hyperbuzzin Someone else here mentioned getting a battery from Batteries Plus.
Don't recall hearing of them having a problem with it.
I was going to get one from them, but still haven't yet

I did just do a search, and found one mention of a bad battery from B.P.
But that has happened even with the top brand ones. Brand new batteries can be bad from the start, no matter who the manufacturer is.
The B.P. ones do have a one year warranty.
