Should have mentioned that upfront.

It's a sealed battery (can't remember brand, but wasn't either of the models mentioned on the forums).

Believe the exhaust is stock.

And have not relocated the R/R yet, though that's definitely next on the list.

I thought the R/R would either die from overheating or behave. Is it possible that it just doesn't work on overheating and works well once everything is cool again?

hyperbuzzin What kind of battery do ya have? If it's not a maintenance free one, have you checked the fluid level lately?
And, do you still have the complete stock exhaust and relocated the regulator/rectifier?

Notably at red lights and/or in heavy stop and go traffic.
Aside from avoiding the two of these (which i do as much as possible) any advice?
