I replaced the bolts on my 1990 Vn750 with stainless allen heads and socket heads years ago and have not regretted it a bit. The value is pretty good too considering what my local Ace Hardware charges for stainless metric.

7 years plus with the stainless and no problems to date.

norsseman Lookin over the bike the worst bolt heads are the Phillips. . they look kind of ratty and unprofessional, will be glad when my set of SS bolts arrive and I can make Lena look more like the sharp lady she is.

Crobins365 I like 'em - they look good, I prefer the allen bolts over phillips head ones, and they're shiny! I think they could've sent more 8mm ones, since that seems to be a common size on our bikes, but by now I've used almost all of them (between the two bikes). A little bling for not a lot of money, IMHO.

Do the bolts shine up well? Are they better than the stock bolts? Since
the bolts are allen head I suppose they stick out further than the stock
bolts?
