Auto Zone has these light bulb covers. Not sure if they will fit on the small bulbs inside the speedo and tach yet.

I'm interested in the license plate LED bulb as well. Looking forward to hearing what you find out. Thanks for all your work and sharing your experiences!!

|racohoon||Ya know, I just haven't got that far yet. I have not even ridden this bike yet since I bought it last fall. (It doesn't look anything like the pic you see in the upper left corner there!) I just finished the paint job last weekend and the exhaust is next on the list. I took pics of it the other day to post here but for some reason I cannot resize them as they are to big to post (still looking into that). I still have to pull the lic. plate bulb yet and see what # it is. I replaced all the lights in the dash and have a clear tail light lens w/ some very expensive #1157 LED's that have more LED's in them than the cheaper $9-$12 bulbs that are not very bright and not worth the $. When I go to the shop & try to figure out the exhaust, I will pull the bulb and get one ordered.|

I installed the wide angle bright white LED's. They actually work pretty well. I don't know why the tach is not showing up very well. It is actually almost as bright as the speedo. Took pics w/ no flash. The first was no headlight the second was w/ headlight on.

My mistake, I see I posted them at 1.66 ea. It's actually 1.66 for a pair. I ordered 3 sets. Total w/ s/h was 9.56
The nearest Auto Zone to me is over 20 miles. I stopped at a different one last week and they were out of the #74 bulb. I don't know why but none of the local parts stores in a 15 mile radius of me covering 3 different cities do not stock LED bulbs. I can't speak for Napa however--I refuse to shop there, everytime I call for Auto parts they are always more expensive than their competitors. I haven't stepped foot in their store for over 6 years, yet I still call and give them a chance to change that--oh well. How do they stay in bussiness?

|2fas4u||If it is a #74, you can get them in parts stores. Autozone's are 2.99 for a pair.|

|racohoon||I purchased some for $1.66 ea. & $5.00 S/H from Hong Kong on e-bay, however I ordered them in blue. They work good but need to be a little brighter. I ordered some wide angle white ones and will try them|

Dianna-- Thank you for the bulb #'s. I looked thru the Kawasaki repair manual but it did not give replacement bulb #'s
Foxhound--Great web site--thank you. I am ordering 4 of the #74 bulbs in white (2 for tach and 2 for speedo) I am also ordering an LED license plate bulb. I'll let you know how they work.
