Old Dog Yeah, know what you mean... A couple of weeks ago we got onto some of those tar & chip roads with some good pot holes, some were even dead end turn arounds... I rode drag and the fellow rider in front of me let his get over in the gravels at one of the dead end turn around, just got over enough that I had to park and help him get it back up, no damage to him or the bike...
Not a lot of fun like good smooth 2 lane twisties...
Have a good one...Old Dog...

Chuck A. Good to hear you got in another good ride. I did 2 and 1/2 hours on 80 miles but it was on some of the ruffest roads in Cullman county. 30 mph most of the time. My teeth are still chattering. Better roads next week forsure.

Old Dog Had a pretty good ride today something like 170 mi. on a nice Sunday afternoon...
We rode up to Rock Island state park & Great Falls Hydo and back using mostly back roads, or at least the 2 laners...lol... I believe that is where Sylvester Stallone did some scenes in "The Specialist"... I had done some work there at Great Falls Hydro, but was long gone when he was there... Nice ride since it had been a good while ago that I was there...
Have a good one...Old Dog...

Oh well, we need moisture. The farmers are already worried about drought this summer.
I remember you sayin that earlier, it has been a warm wet one here, sure hope y'all don't loose the hay crops due to the cold dry winter...
Hopefully we don't pay for the warm with tornadoes either...
BTW-My first over $4 Obomgass too...
Have a good one...Old Dog...

Old Dog Well another great day, don't know what the temp was all day but if was nice & sunny and here at 5:45 pm it's 81*...
We had a good ride down to Signal Mtn. Tn. and rode the W-Rd., it was a good road, much, much different than it shows on the map, most of the roads getting there and back were good also...

Anyway, I rode 172 mi. of mostly twisties, and that alone made me pretty happy...
May do another ride tomorrow (sorry workin folks) takin 130 & the back roads to Lynchburg, then Hwy 129 out thru Petersburg & on over to Lynville Tn. ...
I just gotta ride while I still can, believe it or not, at 75 YO I'm not the oldest rider in our lil group...lol...
Some of the tales told sound more like an old circus riders club...lol...
Have a good one...Old Dog...

Been nice all "winter" here in Jersey. This was the one year I can honestly say I rode all 4 seasons and am loving it!!
