"We Reserve the Right to Refuse Service to Any One". There is nothing that pisses me off more than a "Know It All" customer who thinks I am there just to spend hours out of my day to find their obsolete, discontinued part for the cheapest price I can find it, just to have them scoff at the price. And right now I feel very Cheap and used. First you said you couldn't find a rotor in stock any where and then when I gave you a suggestion on something that would work, you then say you can't find all the other parts, so I spend time searching the net, and calling arround for the spark plug wires, Spark Plug caps, and even the spark plugs. then you have the nerve to tell me you already knew this and just like to piss off Parts Clerks... Man bad move... |

However I did hear of one member that removed one side of the brake system without noting any difference (in his opinion.) ![]() |

CW-4 | When you tighten to a sung fit and then apply the brake, the axle will shift to center of pressure caused by the brake shoes. This allows both shoes to have equal pressure and provide your best braking. If not centered you are only getting max pressure on one shoe. Best that I can explain it. But I could be wrong. |

I too have a weak rear brake. The markings show that the brake shoes should be quite new. I found this in the manual but I do not really understand what it is all about: ![]() |

Sorry for the double posting , but I did want to mention that because of the bike having shaft drive...ACCT's and hydraulic adjusting litters one gets the idea they wanted a bike that was fairly maintenance free. One aspect Jerry didn't touch on is the brake pads on his one disc bike will wear out twice as fast as a duel brake setup. That may have been another possible reason they used two discs up front too.... |
