|Mick51||From here there was a lot of air in the system that needed to be purged. I tried regular bleeding, gravity bleeding and nothing worked. What worked for me to get the air out was a vacuum type method. I opened the bleeder valve and created a suction. I then squeezed the brake lever with the master cylinder cover off. This cause the brake fluid to rush into the brake lines and fill them up. This all in all was not hard to do works great for me now.|

the first picture here shows the new master cylinder on. It attaches just as the old one does with two bolts.
The second is how the bolt and banjo fittings fit together before they go back in.

Master cylinder change
All i needed for this was a phillips head screw driver, a 10mm and 14mm open ended wrench, I think it was a 5mm allen wrench, 1/4" i.d. clear tubing and brake fluid.
The first picture is of the old master cylider. Now i realize how bad the paint job from the previous owner really was.
The second picture is the brake lever and mirror removed.
The third picture is of the banjo fitting where the master cylinder attached to the other two brake lines behind the kawasaki emblem on the front of the bike
The fourth is of the bolt out and the two fittings apart.
the fifth is of the the two wires for the brake light sensor, make sure to take these off carefully and reattach them after.
