Wow, this looks neat, from what I've seen on YouTube. I was stationed in Panama for three years too, so I've gotta see it for that reason alone.

Yeah, I resurrected an 8-year-old thread. No regrets

But it was an interesting movie, about a young guy that finds out he has cancer and isn't sure how to deal with it, so he buys an old Norton and spends a week riding it 'west' in Canada without any particular destination.. just getting away and thinking about his life (or lack of it).

i would recommend it if you can find it. i found it on Comcasts 'free movie' list under the Sundance Film Festival heading, which might be only available here in Utah.

The Norton is just a device that the plot revolves around, but thats how a lot of 'bike' books/movies are.
I just saw one week for the first time. It was great! Thanks man for the recommendation. I will watch it again. It really made me think about priorities in life. My older brothers have various forms of cancer....and I anticipate my time may come. Its all about the journey ....and the few moments we have between life and death. I like the quote "To seek, to strive, to find, not to yield."

Movie with a Norton as its central character

EchoKilo Anyone ever see the movie "Born to Ride" with John Stamos? I remember liking it alot when I was in 6th grade, but I haven't seen it since then, so I'm not sure how well it would hold up these days...
