Golf It didn't start leaking until I changed out the O-rings around the screws, and that's where it's leaking from

michiganteddybear check the vent circuits in the cap. also check the vent tube from the cap area to rear of tank, and the rubber hose from that to below frame. any of the above will keep it from venting properly

Gas Cap Leaking Fuel

I disassembled the gas cap to clean. One of the O-rings for the screws was deteriorated and in half. It had a slight leak so a few weeks ago I bought a big assorted box of O-rings from the hardware store - perhaps they are too thick because now after fill up gas is leaking from the entire bottom, and you can hear it hiss and watch the gas flow out after shut off.
