Munchy Yea I paid little over 100 for it. Was the switch and lock. My old one locked up and wouldn't turn anymore even after lube. I didnt realize I could just purchase a new lock. I guess I could put the new lock on the old switch and see of that fixes the problem.

michiganteddybear 2 months old? did you replace the ign switch itself, or the ign lock assy? I dont know if new switch assy's actually still exist, and if they do, they are probably pretty doggone expensive.

the ign switch itself can be cleaned/rebuilt. just carefully seperate the switch, then clean the contacts and very slightly stretch the spring(s).. DONT loose the balls or the spring when taking it apart.

Ignition switch?

So I keep losing power to my headlight, tach, neutral light etc... it's happened when riding and when starting. If I apply a little clockwise pressure to the key in the ignition everything is fine and works again but it ****'s off again later sometimes right away sometimes not. Any ideas? The ignition assembly is only about 2 months old...
