Did you grease the bar itself that the throttle tube fits on?
Are you sure the right controll housing is not just pushed to far onto the bar?

|jdamato1||Yeah I'll try that|

|hoff02||I also found from a recent cable replacement that over-tightening the push cable can cause the throttle to slow return or bind. I think it has to do with the arc of carb arm swinging with the pull cable eyelet. You could try putting a little slack in the push cable....just a hair was enough to fix the problem for me.|

|Mellow||You have two throttle cables, push and pull, the push cable is what is giving you an issue, if it is to long and binding up you will have this issue. I would check to see if you can route it better and lube the cable and see if that fixes the issue, next step would be custom cables.|

|jdamato1||The handlebars are shorter now|

|kay||it might be how the cable is routed (in a bind somewhere) and not in need of adjustment. Are the handlebars shorter than the original ones?|

Throttle has slow return
How do I fix a slow throttle return after changing the handlebars ? When I let off the throttle it doesn't return as fast as it should. Which cable needs to be adjusted ?
