Reckoning So if 2 legs are grounding, what causes this? Defective stator? Something I did during installation?

What exactly is happening when it's being grounded to the frame? Does this mean it's in contact with the frame? Not sure what this means or what to look out for once getting another new stator.

Testing each yellow wire combination on AC 200 and at 3k RPM, I'm about 44.0 so that seems to be testing fine.
Sometimes OL - sometimes good

Sometimes 0.2 - 0.5 - sometimes shorted out to ground

Spockster This is a lot like the thread on tanner's bike, he had a new charging system that wasn't working. He tried the Two-Wire mod and fixed it.

Could be one of the JB relays pulling the charge volts down.

You can try the Blue Wire mod (headlight relay).

You can try the Two-Wire mod, (start relay).

All bets are off if one stator leg is still grounding out.

JETHRO From what I have read you have done everything correctly ,IT SHOULD WORK put a multimeter across the battery on 20 DCV then rev the bike , you should see an increase of volts up to 14.5v at about 4000 revs.

Reckoning What's a test I could run to make sure the voltage is making it past the fuse and actually to the terminal?

Yes when I charge I'm connecting straight to the battery, the new R/R I also have going straight to the battery with a 30A fuse on the positive side.
